Tottingham Court Road
|
| It's a long and dirty road and macca never sung... loads of semi-shite electronic stores, a PC world at the end... some fair to middling pubs - wander off and you can find cheap boozeries such as the Fitzroy Tavern and the Bricklayer's Arms. Used to have the best FOPP in the world before the idiots went bankrupt. Now there is a rubbishy Next in its place. Up the warren street end there are boring bed shops. Students wander up and down looking forlorn and there are of course those giant cocks, the scientologists, offering their stress test mind wipery jobbies. Turn right by the Habitat and there's a Waterstone's and the joys of Bloomsbury to savour. In fact, turn off TCR as soon as possible as the back streets are cleaner and free of skunk pussies and jism monkeys Ahhhhhhh Centre Point |

I regret to inform you albertob that Jamies closed down a few months back - and we never got there...
ok, so try Jamies bar on charlotte street. You ain't gonna get anything nice round there - but it's got big screens and it sells booze. That's all you need for footy
I know it's a difficult request. Let's remove "cosy" from the equation and just let me know your recomendation.
right, a cosy pub in Goodge street...erm...I'm lost on this one. There's a few near Warren Street that'll show the game, one just over from the Hospital, but certainly not cosy, a bit more old manny. Your better off hitting Green Lanes. It's going to be filled with crazy street parties full of Turkey Fans. I'll keep thinking about cosy and goodge street tho
please help!!
I need to find a cozy pub to watch the football tonite around Goodge st.
any suggestions from the experts?
For a cheap lunch head to the stalls for Thai, Chinese, Mexican and salads, on Goodge place (off Goodge street), then sit in the lovely (though usually packed) park next to Whitfield street.
round the back of HMV there's that road with a bunch of pubs including the spanish one that goes downstairs. It's pretty sound and has a half decent duke box.
Also try out Troy it's upstairs and pretty hilariuos. Last time I was in there a guy from Jamaica had his drum and spent an hour singin Bob Marley tunes. Genius.
That pub at the bottom of centre point. That's a pretty good bar. 101 bar or something like that. Up warren st end you have Potion bar-quality boozer an Its a scream bar and Jerusalem-swanky restaurant. Other than that it is ghey!
Charlotte Street's where it's at. Turn left before the scientologists innit.
