Like when it snows, we can't cope when something different is thrown in our face. Here's some stuff I saw today.

1. Everybody was walking..in the drizzle...in June

2. The fights. A mass of people at the bustop and one space on the bus....Everyone pushes so much that businessman is stuck with his face squashed against the window.

3. Old Lady standing at Bus Stop says "Is there a problem with the tube?"

4. Half of London actually stayed at home, excuses like..."there's no way I'm walking 6 miles"...."I'm Claustrophobic (but get the tube every day)"...

5. Man, banging on the window of the bus, screaming abusively at the bus driver to let him in, man stacks, drops briefcase and slumps dejectedly to the floor.

I'm looking forward to the journey home and also to tomorrow!

I laughed at all those stupid people struggling to get to work today while my 40k per year tube drivers slothed out at home.

I hope your return journey is just as pleasant.

Bet you didn't get a pay rise this year, eh?

I'm sure the prospect of driving through miles of underground tunnels every day doesn't appeal to you, but if tube drivers have it so easy, why don't you chuck in the towel at your current job and join them?

Exactly. We trust them every day with millions of lives, so they should be treated with respect and compensated accordingly.

Bob Crow the second says:

Join the tube drivers? I don't know about the first Bob Crow, but why would I do that? I didn't work full time while studying part time to get a Masters degree so that I could drive tube trains. If they want more money, maybe they should find better jobs.
