Reuters reported the comedy genius plan by a local goverment in Indonesia's East Java province to take a hold on the prostitution and SEEDY reputation of the area by asking masseuses to wear a padlock on their pants. The age-old threat of fathers protecting the chastity of their young tarts in training by armour plating their undergarments is an unlikely choice for government policy on the face of it, but it rings true in a figurative sense does it not? Nonetheless the State Minister for Women's empowerment Meuthia Hatta lost her sense of humor and went bananas about the plans, telling the Jakarta Post:

"It is not the right way to prevent promiscuity. It insults women as if they are the ones in the wrong," Hatta said.

Hatta is right, it is insulting to women - why not clamp iron cod-pieces around the dangly bits of the customers frequenting these seedy establishments? In fact why not just clad all the offending parts in Iron? I think we are onto a winner here! We should take it to the sink-estates of Great Britain, which - had they had such a policy, perhaps could have stopped Karen Matthews allowing herself to be used like a lay-by on a motorway. EUGH!!
