Heya, was gonna post this ages ago, lots going on. THANK YOU! for sending me to Zoo8. It was a terribly unorganised festival... But It's better than none, and the crowd was great and I still got see some good artists, an that’s down to you guys!! *BIG KISS*
hello ilovetents you have won! please email editor@theothersidemag.co.uk and we can arrange things.
thanks
Sam
I got an email saying I won tickets to zoo thousand a couple of days ago and i mailed back to see what i need to do now. but nothing back yet. *Sitting Anxiously*
the sun is out, London's at its best and the parks are calling. A ticket for hyde park calling would make the picture perfect
I would really like to go to Hyde Park Calling - i have been deprived of festival action for over a year and am dying to get into a park and shout along to some music. Roxanne!!
Please let me win! Fingers crossed like my legs when i'm on the tube on my way home from pub!!
I'd love to go with Jeff to this, we could mull around the zoo, before performing an impromtue show in the fields.
I've never been to any festival! boohoo, it make me sad. Went to CKY once, i was way out of my depth.
But if there's any festival thats worth going to, its gotta be zoo thousand. It's not in term time so there wont be crowds of annoying lil people, and it's in a flipping ZOO!!! Gotta go!
It's always good to get out of the big schmoke and enjoying a festival is a great way to kick back. Countryside festivals get my vote! Altho this year I'm checking out the Garden Festival in Croatia... Watch this space!
Countryside ones are undoubtably better. I'd almost be inclined to say that European ones are the best.
Hi, are all festivals similar to clapham's 'get loaded in the park'? That's the only one I've been to, and it wasn't friendly. Countryside ones seem much better...
Yesterday I learned a difficult tune on the Ukulele.. at the Duke Of Uke and when I went to pick up my bike from Liverpool Street Station.. it was still there after 3 weeks.. the evening standard man had been looking after it for me.. what a fella!
Today I'm going to shoot apples with my bow and arrow off the heads of willing fools.
Tomorrow I'm going to save the world but first I'll do the housework.

I'll be one of those chavs slapping your face and stealing your lager at glasto this year. bring it on
A group of us went to the Green Man in 2004 and it was amazing. We went back in 2006 and the tent that had been the main stage in 2004 had become one of the beer tents, so a massive change but still small enough to be friendly. Great food, beer, atmosphere and music.
Roskilde rules. I went with Mena Suvari after we filmed American Beuaty. It was magnificent. We met up with some friends and shared a laugh and a cigar.
Went to Roskilde the year before last, such a great festival! Everyone should go!
